Adviser's Minute
Brothers,
One of the Section NE-3B staff's goals for the year was to improve our communication capability via a renovated web presence. Section NE-3B covers a large area, and the web site is a powerful tool to keep in regular contact with our membership. Please use this tool to your benefit, to increase your program capability in your home Lodge. There are resources here that can be found nowhere else. Return regularly as the site is updated, and more information is added. If you have suggestions for improvement, please be in touch with our webmaster and let him know. We're always looking to improve.
Our program of emphasis this year, our Conclave at Tuscarora Scout Reservation, has the theme "Lucky 7's: Seven Lodges United." The theme has a ton of potential, but that potential needs you. The great writer Oliver Wendall Holmes once said "Greatness is not where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it but sail we must, and not drift, nor lie at anchor." Be part of the new direction of the Section, don't sit by the side hoping that others will do it for you. Enjoy meeting with those outside your Lodge, gain some new ideas, learn some new skills, but most of all have fun in the process.
