Section Chief

Home Lodge: Otahnagon
Dan is an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 221 in Vestal, NY. He is a Vigil Honor member of Otahnagon Lodge and has served in such positions as Service and Activity Committee Chairman, Vice Chief of Inductions, and most recently as Lodge Chief.
Dan enjoys camping, fishing, basketball, Frisbee, tennis, and working out. He also likes training and has trained on many different staffs ranging from New Youth Leader Training (NYLT) to Conclave training cells. He enjoys watching college football and basketball; his favorite basketball team is the Syracuse Orange. He is currently attending Oswego State University, majoring in Human Resource Management.

Section Secretary

Home Lodge: Onteroraus
Matt is an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 58 in Fultonham, NY. His is also a Vigil Honor member of Onteroraus Lodge.
He has held such positions as Chapter Treasurer and Secretary, Lodge Vice-Chief, Treasurer, and is currently serving a term as Lodge Secretary. He was elected to the remainder of the 2008 Section Secretary term at the May 10th Conclave Onsite meeting at Camp Tuscarora. He attended the 2006 National Order of the Arrow Conference as a member of the website committee staff, and plans on attending the next National Scout Jamboree and the next National Order of the Arrow Conference. He has attended other OA events including the National Leadership Seminar in Dillsburg, PA.
He is currently a junior at The State University of New York at Cobleskill, having recently received his Associate of Science in Small Business Management in May of 2008. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Small Business Management degree, with an expected graduation date as early as January 2010. He is an active member of his college chorus, the college music club, and the Cobleskill Commuter Student Association.
After turning 21 this coming January, Matt plans to stay active in his troop and lodge and continue to contribute through an advisory role for the new lodge and chapter officers for Onteroraus.
